the enviroment in this game is insanely well made, i love games that detail almost everything and this is it

I wrote a bit on Discord and was suggested to upload the Polish version to Github. I've seen this page a few times, but from what I see, the management system for this page is unclear. I'll see how to manage it. I'll try to add proejekt to Orsoniks , wait to accept to add the project to his profile – but since we don't know when it will appear, or at least not before the next version of the game is released, or we'll have to wait longer for the full version. I'll upload the Polish beta translation ,of two color version to my profile. Regarding the menu color, not everyone likes this color scheme, or at least it should reflect the darkness of the game. Not everything will be to everyone's liking.

Some optional concepts for selecting font color in the menu

This is the kind of game I've been looking for like, forever.
It is sort of a mix between Rain World, reminds me to Project Zomboid and, well in this particular case it is slightly linked to PB. Amazing game overall, it is very rare for me to end up wanting to play demos, the mechanics have to be very enjoyable for me to get addicted to a game, congrats!

I bet you may have considered it being on steam already but, if not yet, why? Do you have a planned release date?

The only thing I wanna critizice is the tutorial, I got stuck several times because I am required to pay strict attention to the radio, something I'm uncapable of apparently, when I had to sleep in order to continue with the tutorial, I got stuck again 'cause the character was thirsty, and you can't sleep when thirsty (probably because I was afk for a while).

In the tutorial there are only the main conditions to be fulfilled, which are ordered by the radio speech. It is probably impossible to perform certain actions if they are not done in order. There should be a text somewhere at the top telling what we need to do at a given moment because sometimes we cannot keep up with reading everything.

hmm, regarding certain mechanics, the game called Stone Shard has many similar survival features, only it's a roguelike/rpg/survival/ game while taking turns

About the mechanics, my niche is on the physics side, any game that incorporates static interactions get me bored very quickly, unless procedural algorythms help to persuade engine's physics limitations or the developers take in consideration wide variety of cases, pretty much like Project Zomboid does, but if I had to choose I would prefer a 2D game with its own simulated world rather than a game that attempts to emulate reality in a way that can't be accomplished, Spore does this pretty well, Rain World is a great case, I still play Toribash nowdays and Exanima was a breeze to play, but years ago all I had was Plazma Burst, if you know more games like this I would play them 100% and I also aim to make games like this, looks like I'm still trying to figure out what I want to do.
I believe 'First Cut' made a difference on my perspective, because it has no physics, but the ways you can interact make it very enjoyable to play, and I will finish with how Absolver handles combat because I just love it and it's sad to see it has been abandoned.

But survival games? No, really strange to find great projects like this one, or maybe I lack proper ways to be informed about them.

This game is amazing. Even in this current state. Demo 4 already feels pretty polished and has a lot to offer, with lots of mechanics and in terms of creating situations. I really hope you'll keep working on it, because it also feels like it has so much more potential.

best game ive seen ever. its like terraria and other survival games making it fun for many game lovers the aspect of going into a cave makes it scary giving it a thrill to it and its really hard making it fun :D

Absolutely in love with this so far.

Biggest piece of criticism outside of "This is awesome I want more" is the overlapping of spawned structures on each level, and traps being placed halfway inside of walls.

Other than those minor things, I've had no issues with the game so far, and am very excited to see where this ends up going.

For those interested in what the Polish beta version v4.0.1 (PL) looks like, - test tutorial

I czasami wyjdzie

Coś jest nie tak z moją RĘKA)

Mimo to powodzenia. Śmiało możesz użyć mojego tłumaczenia i poprawić/zmienić co chcesz. Jest trochę na dole za pierwszym po drodze ruchomym GIFem. Pozdrawiam!

Some words have several meanings in the English to Polish translation, so there is some confusion about the interpretation (I am not able to translate the whole thing at once using a translator, I had to translate lines one by one to keep the appropriate entries that have references to other game files, at least it is not possible in the program I use // I don't know if you took into account that - as for the reference (limb), it can be interpreted as (body part or body), if the character damaged their head, it does not break here (limb), nor can you enter arm or hand since another part can be damaged, so it is a bit stupid / the game unfortunately does not have separate references to individual body parts, if something is damaged during a fall or collision, it is interpreted in one tab, so (usually words have a general reference to (limb) or, as you wrote, hand? / the BETA version is not polished, it has many errors, it was only translated into Polish / in the Pro version I made corrections, etc., as for the color menu, there is no problem with changing it color, you need to play it a lot and check how the character interprets various things in the game to change it later if necessary

entries that use the interpretation (limb - kończyna  )limbinfected /limbskin/pain/

entries that use the interpretation (limb - limb) and do not use other individual body parts, when a given part is damaged, when a character damages the torso it will not inform us about it, it will be one of the selected interpretations with the text (limb) used or not, I have to look at it more closely, they are playing this game as if at some fateful moment what will he say and what will he damage

         "Head": "Głowa",

        "UpTorso": "Tułów",

        "DownTorso": "Brzuch",

        "UpArmF": "Górne prawe ramię",

        "DownArmF": "Prawe przedramię",

        "HandF": "Prawa dłoń",

        "UpArmB": "Górne lewe ramię",

        "DownArmB": "Lewe przedramię",

        "HandB": "Lewa dłoń",

        "ThighF": "Prawe udo",

        "CrusF": "Prawy piszczel",

        "FootF": "Prawa stopa",

        "ThighB": "Lewe udo",

        "CrusB": "Lewy piszczel",

        "FootB": "Lewa stopa",

It's similar with drinking or eating, both functions are limited to one line of interpretation, so you can't enter, for example, "good water" if the character ate a steak. It looks stupid, so there are only general references to the action performed, not to a specific action of the character. It would have to be done on two separate lines for these actions.

turning to yet another thing, it is an interpretation, a foot or a hand, otherwise a paw / or a lower paw / an upper paw if we take into account that it is partly an animal.

This is a really fun experience and i hope for more updates soon I die alot because im bad but its seriously a fun cycle its the type of game that will kill you over the most random thing and you cant really be mad just amazed thats a feature

this game is so great, i really hope it gets updated soon.
like actually, i love everything about it ( except the music. )
although i only got to Layer 2 the game seems actually GREAT. just keep working on it champ.
( also btw, please nerf the traps. )

(1 edit) (+1)

the only reason why music's bad is that it was so fire it burned your house (no offense)

also, Orsoniks, PLEASE add geysers with boiling hot water, sharp stalagmites and stalactites

Deleted 2 days ago

i hope you step on a trap and that ruins your whole run.

geysers?, more like, GAYSERS. im so funny.

harder game is a funnier game

thats so real

(+1)

in order of how n' why? i will simply say do not step on the jumpad(2 lights), bear trap, Spike trap(red blinking), LandmineGeyser(the horror) or get hit by the Skullbreaker(glows), Turret(warning at level), Sound Cannon(warning in LOS), or the stalactites(the horror pt2;look up 4head)

You forgot about the living vines in the jungle.

If the game is difficult for you, you can always reduce the number of traps and the number of traps per level.

im OK with it being hard though, i love not knowing anything about the game. its just that feeling.

(1 edit)

does anyone have any cmds? discovered the cmd bar and i wanna try it out

Type "help" in that bar and you'll get all the commands, though none of them are really explained.

this game gives the same amount of what id call ''Painful Fun" as Notia with a neat little health system on the side (guess closer to zomboid if I could only use one game as a comparison in feel). i'm happy to see where this goes. I hope that even when you put in your planed endings that endless will still be a thing.
