The game is fantastic. One gripe I have is that the gun aiming is really wonky. This might be a skill issue, but I wish my character wouldn't sit down while I'm trying to line up a shot.

My last character got one of the worst deaths possible I think 😭
Stepped on a landmine, broke 3 bones, sent flying into a flooded life pod that he couldn’t climb out of because of the broken bones, perpetually passing out from the pain before immediately waking up drowning, he was stuck like this for at least a few days, maybe a week before finally dying of sepsis
Why must so many bad things happen to a poor creature?
This game reminds me a lot of Noita, though I can't say that Noita has crafting mechanics like this. It is in sore need of a pause function, and I hope such gets added soon. Going down is painfully easy, but climbing back up is just a pain. The character's portrayal is incredible. The visual and auditory effects provided by various statuses, combined with the yapping of the character makes it very easy to empathize with, which I don't think I really like in a game that resembles Noita.
It is one thing for a game to have fall damage, it is another thing entirely for the character having received fall damage to writhe in agony, whimpering, screaming for help that will never come. Sure, it's still like Noita, and as I may become more skilled, the game becomes easier and the poor critter suffers less. But I almost don't want to even play this. Not because it isn't fun, not because it's bad, but because I don't want to see this critter slowly bleed out and die because it fell 100 meters and every bone in the lower half of its body was shattered. It wasn't even a quick death, either. It was a long, painful death. One that I couldn't do anything about.
That being said, even for a prototype, this is an incredible piece of work. This is one of the rare games that touches me on an emotional level, even if that emotion is deep pity and sorrow for the character, and I hope to see more. Yes, I will continue playing (if only to learn how to better care for the character), and I might even buy this game if it comes up for sale (I really do think it's that good.) And, I hope to see more like this in the future (though, maybe less sad)!

Slight bug I had due to using Wine Is Not a Emulator in BSPWM (XLibre) is when I switch/tab out the game goes in a frozen state and forces to kill the process.
This means I cannot tab out while playing, could be problematic.
idk if you take suggestions or not, if you don't, completely understandable, but something cool that could be seen is perhaps like, a new type of ledge grabbing, where if your hands are free, you can press a button (maybe holding down the attack button?) to use your claws to latch onto a block, which will allow you to "stick" onto surfaces, but only for a certain period of time determined by aspects like nutrition and body mass, and if you attempt to stop a fall using it, you could fail and break your claws, with perhaps a differing degree of severity, from chips to snapping the claw off to a point where it can regrow to maybe having your distal phalanges dismembered, in which your claws will no longer function. Orso, if you are reading this, thank you for your time, and if you do consider adding this, only add as much as you feel like programming; i am an (amateur) programmer too, and i kinda know how it feels to just be overwhelmed by suggestions.
I seriously can’t wait for the full release. This game is incredible, and I need it on Steam! I just hope it doesn’t end up cancelled like... others... lol :3
Love the game so far, the farthest I've gotten so far is layer 4,then dying to hunger caused by sleeping to heal. The only pet peeve of mine is that the crafting recipes reset every run, which makes me disinclined to experiment with complex unknown recipes as my character won't remember them the next run. This leads to me only memorizing a few important recipes like the canteen, rope pack, and dressings.
Also, I love the sound design! The various tracks that play when your character is starving or injured are all great at setting the tone. Even the silence when nothing is going wrong contributes to the unnerving atmosphere.
A controllable slider for durability would be useful, as having backpacks disintegrate while sleeping is not my favorite mechanic.
I am now a few runs in and getting familiar with the game, having made it to the 4th biome and dying shortly after arrival. I'd like to say that what you've made here is incredibly well-done. You've created a cruel and dangerous world full of peril and difficulty and made me care immensely about the poor little fox-guy-thing that I am subjecting to it. I hope dearly that this project continues to get love and updates and look forward to more if so. If one day I see this on Steam, I will gladly buy it at full price.

The game does a really good job making me care for safety of the player character. The juxtaposition of the cute character and the detailed, disturbing injuries you can get is really something else.
love this experience, the pain and suffering feel great and the soundtrack is also very nice ^w^ keep cooking silly, this game or atleast some parts of it have appeared twice in my dreams so far, love it ^w^
the critter is very cute too and i love the silly details like trying to shake out their fur when drenched, fun fact there is a bark button (B)
This game is actually amazing, holy! I've played exactly 2 runs and died brutally both times and I can already tell I'm going to be spending ungodly amounts of hours playing this.
As a "pro" I will tell you there will be so many new things the further you go down and it's super hard. Certainly what makes me a fan. GO MASOCHISTIOM
Could consider giving a guide on how to use the commands like getbodyfields, setbodyfields, etc etc yknow? Im kinda getting a little pissed over these errors, and im not a programmer nor a coder myself. If you can, consider making a guide if you can! Thanks
This has been a great game! (Albeit a little frustrating at times). But this is an amazing and well-developed start! I second CaseyXW with this health system! Are you planning on adding other temperature related injuries like burns or frostbite? Or electrocution perhaps too?
This game is fucking horrific, disgusting and the sound design when you're wounded/in pain/dying is dread-inducing...10/10, just as it should be! I can't get enough. RAAAGH I LOVE DETAILED HEALTH SYSTEMS!!

Помню еще как увидел геймплей этой игры на ютубе, после чего скачал, т.к. выглядела довольно привлекательной, но забросил на месяц так и не открыв, а зря.... Но о боже, какие же эмоции я испытал при первых прохождениях, я не мог оторваться от монитора и сидел до 3-х часов ночи - настолько меня завлекла эта игра. Простая графика, шикарный динамичный эмбиент, физика предметов и не только делает игру кладязем на этой площадке. Если так просуммировать, то можно сказать что это смесь terrarria, starbound, noita, rain world (автор шарит) и Spelunky. Я вам отвечаю, этой игре нужно только дать расфорситься и она станет объектом внимания многих людей, потому что она более чем заслуживает того.
По геймплею можно сказать что игра довольно сложная как по мне (и наверное не для казуалов). Задача вроде как простая: спуститься как можно дальше и найти артефакт, который людишки совершенно случайно запульнули вместе со всяким хламом и десятками тысяч тебе подобных на чёрт какую планету. Но всё это превращается в непреодолимое препятствие, когда ты в порыве эмоций просто падаешь вниз в яму и ломаешь себе пару костей и получаешь сотрясение мозга, т.к. игра довольно тёмная, а рельеф местности непредсказуемый. Здесь можно найти много всяких полезных штук, которые разбросаны по всей местности и которые могут спасти твою никчёмную жизнь. Система повреждений и статус эффектов тела тут сделаны просто отлично и вполне реалистично (единственное что в панели здоровья нет хвоста). Здесь полно разных механик к примеру адаптивное настроение, температура, радиация и т.д. Есть визуальные эффекты по типу кровь из раны, которая оставляет след на земле. Если слишком больно - закинься опиумом, если поранился - обеззаразь рану и наложи повязку, если сломал кость - ну жди пока срастётся хз
К слову о тебе - ты всего лишь большое разумное животное (точно не фурри), плод воображения безумных учёных, которым нехрен было делать. Тебя держали в глубоких лабораториях явно не с хорошими целями, но всё уже в позади, ведь теперь ты находишься в сотни тысячах километров от твоего "дома". И вот тут до тебя доходит "теперь я один и меня отправили на верную смерть". Со временем ты подтверждаешь свои догадки, когда видишь трупы своих возможно друзей. И постепенно твоё настроение падает, ты теряешь веру во всё и впадаешь в тотальную депрессию, и не замечаешь как падаешь духом от инфекции, нехватки еды и лекарств. Ты оставил всё позади, в этом мире для тебя всё кончено.
И в то же время, когда ты видишь это бедное, скулящее от боли издыхающее существо - ты понимаешь что это твоя вина. Из-за тебя главный герой оступился, выбрал не тот путь или проиграл тупым ловушкам. Ты осознаешь свои ошибки, ты в стрессе винишь себя в попытках что-нибудь сделать, но всё тщетно. Ты вынужден смотреть на его последние проблески жизни. Это очень тяжело и довольно сильно сжимает и подавляет изнутри. Именно этим игра по настоящему цепляет тебя за живое, усиливая это соответствующей музыкой и спецэффектами. Но как бы то ни было ты должен повторять этот цикл снова и снова в надежде на лучший результат.
Шикарная игра, 10/10, настоятельно рекомендую попробовать всем. Хоть это и демка и в ней есть разного рода баги по типу кривой генерации и бешеного поведения предметов, но в ней вполне достаточно контента, чтобы понять что это за игра. Я очень надеюсь что эта игра будет получать обновы (как впрочем и Gunsaw) и вскоре станет известнее. Огромный поклон разработчику за проделанный труд, так держать !
Извиняюсь что я мог сильно для кого-то надушнить, я просто старался сделать лучше. и кстати, если честно - у меня есть непреодолимое желание записать какой-нибудь мини ролик на ютуб, хоть у меня нет навыков в монтаже.
Кстати, в игре есть консоль, пока команд не особо известно, но я видел что можно отключить пикселизацию - pixelate false и остановить время - timescale 0.

after parkouring up the tutorial shaft i'm sad to say you can't slowly rest on the lights and climb up to the very top they put a ceiling on it

just aim and fire quickly. pistol has a bit of a laser on it, the shotgun is the easiest to use, and its a SHOTGUN.

I love how this being a furry game amplifies the dread of having a body. It's so tactile.

this problem solves if you use proton experimental instead of wine, it also gives more performance

one time i got a run with LOADS of corpse everywhere the dialogue before my little guy died was just.. goddamn
