I installed this game thinking it would be just another sidescrolling shooter. What I got was something FAR superior. Gore, explosions, responsive AI that dont just meaninglessly run towards you, really well made firearm mechanics, the list goes on

The grey barrels are sometimes indistinguishable from the background, especially when you are focused on the enemies. Maybe colour them pastel blue or something like that. Everything else is perfect!
Pretty cool game, though actually playing through some levels can be a chore due to the number of physics objects in the way. The movement and telekinesis kind of remind me of Plasma Burst 2, though PB2 does it way better. This game would be a 10/10 if those systems were reverse engineered and implemented into this game, as well as making the weapons easier to use. As it stands, the guns have way too much recoil, and the physics being implemented into the aiming means you can only reliably shoot while standing still without getting shot.
That's the point, you're meant to shoot while standing/crouching down. This is a tactical shooter, not an action one. Characters experience a lot of recoil because they're small and light, trying to shoot while jumping or ragdolled will always be very inaccurate. Telekinesis is not meant to be your main movement method, and is meant to be not much more than a small advantage and a way to throw physics objects at enemies etc.

The game is just right, terribly difficult, but it makes it fun. The look first reminded me of the Flash game "Plazma Burst 2", but I realized later that the physics here are even cooler. I highly recommend the game as a 2D shooter, you won’t regret it. Orsoniks, I advise you to make a mutiplayer in the official release, both on the Internet and on LAN. And you can try body customization, change the type of pure color (to make Experiment look white, I think it will be cool :) ). Well, good luck, of course, good luck in this and your other projects, I will watch the updates. The bug is small: sometimes you can get your foot stuck in a tray, you have to break it with a shot or telekinesis, but this is a physics bug, in principle this is not uncommon in Unity
Dude that's cool game, keep it up, you're doing a good job.
The only thing I would like to note is movement and shooting.
Sometimes the character gets stuck between a platform and a floor, making it impossible to get out unless you start shooting at yourself
Shooting sometimes behaves strangely, in theory everything should have hit from the shotgun, but the damage is small. I don’t know, maybe I’m not very accurate.
sorry for the lack of updates, everyone - my motivation on this game has been really low and im working on another project. im trying my best to keep the game running, but its a little hard for me! i hope ya'll will forgive this project taking a long time

i am excited to try it, while i am just one person. i think its fine to take as long as you need, a game is much more enjoyable if the dev isnt suffering while developing it

can't get more than an S on mount basins by a few performance points thanks to that one dude. Won't spoil where he is, just know it's a little annoying challenging.
Got an X on all other levels exept the very first one, and there's a good reason for it: i'm missing one enemy, somewhere, somehow. I looked everywhere on the main path and couldn't find anything.
The interesting thing is that on that same first level is the only possible secret area i couldn't get to: all the way to the left is a pit with a holo-sign saying the area is unfinished, and telling me to "come back later :3". At the bottom of the pit is also some kind of door but i haven't found a way to open it yet. Standing on the highest part of the sloped door you can just barely see another sign. My theory is that i can somehow throw myself high enough to pass the wall and get to the other side or, hit the wall at mach6.9 and die a painful death to then reform just barely reaching the body of that one enemy i couldn't find, on the other side of the wall where i saw the sign.
Keep you all updated if i find something new, in the meantime, suggestions are more than welcome.
well i can tell you something that might help you, i have the same issue and i explored.
there is a area where there is a big platform going across the room and one enemy is on it. there is a hole in the ceiling you can throw yourself into, and also get a gun to use as a object to throw yourself with.
then you walk across a huge area, just keep walking. then you get to a wall with lights, use the gun to throw yourself over it.
there is a area with some props and you drop down a bit and there is a big ramp, i used some objects to throw myself up that ramp and it leads to a vehicle tutorial area,
there is also a crawlspace going under a door wich leads to a giant ocean area that leads to nowhere i believe. i died or soemthing while trying to explore more so i havent found a enemy but i feel like it might be there. actually i can try all of that again and see if i can find the enemy there.
first i used a explosive barrel that i put on myself wich for somereason launched me high enough to get over the wall,
but now i found a easier method. basically go into windowed mode and squish your window wich sets it to like a super high view distance mode and that allows you to see the enemy from the locked off area,
you then just need to die and can switch to it. it also is in a very advanced parkour area, i cheesed it a bit with gibs from my space flight but i mysteriously exploded after getting caught between a wall and platform it seems. looks like i need to do it legitimately this time
no problem!, though issue with that tactic is that since there is one mandatory death in the tutorial you cannot die before. so i needed to get a new tactic
basically i have to squish the screen to get more view, then use levitation to go up the wall and grab the fence ontop midair, then i use it to launch myself as far as i can so i land in the ocean outside the garage area,
then use a box to go up again and use the fence on the exit of the water maze to safely land and go backwards,
fall down and walk to the secret enemy, and then kill them and throw their body on the platform above
and use it then after walljumping up to levitate up the wall and use the fence to hopefully safely drop down on the door angle thingy and not die. then just do the tutorial without dying twice. i hope i explained it correctly
though it is very difficult to get to standing on the wall again since our character loves to ragdoll around :P one of the ways that sometimes works is to get stuck on the fence and wait to go into walk mode. it took me a long time though

oh and the extra large view helps see some funny secrets aswell.

okay after doing the parkour it leads to the weird garage area i found earlier, though i am not super sure how to get that way back as it is just a giant empty room, (probably what the under construction is about) but maybe breaking 2 boxes to get 2 guns and then using the first one to get on the first ledge and then the other to get up the other ledge. though the second one is a lethal drop so i am not quite sure how to get up that far safetly (probably cant) also i dont know how to spoiler these texts :(
i simply had to make a account to express how much i enjoyed the demo.
i absolutely loved it. i think the character designs are very cute and i like the little lore and personality info about them.
i like that the guns have names that i can understand and sometimes i actually am curious about some info about the guns (the prototype as a example) in terms of lore and specialties. though i know that would take a while to write.
i also enjoy exploring the levels and some secret parts, i also am currently trying to U rank some levels and maybe try some X ranks aswell. when the game comes out and costs money i definetely will put it on my wishlist.
i also wonder if there are some orange creatures that still have their extra arms, maybe this allows dual wielding guns but i imagine that would be weird to impliment.
thank you for making this game and i am excited to see more, it also inspires me to hopefully be capable at game development in the future myself though i will stick to art for now.

I noticed the files say there are 12 levels, but for some reason only 8 are available

it is important you face the wall you jump off of, it can be a bit tricky

so i died without any viable possession targets and i got "an abomination"
why doesn't it unlock it as a choosable character though?
The "Abomination" is basically the starter character; the black wolf one.
The game also is in alpha; be aware of that.
Its basically the first character but with weaker stats, so it's not unlockable because of that.
so wait, are possessions limited? because otherwise where would the challenge be?
edit:found out possessions are in fact limited, but it doesn't show how many you have anywhere?
They are shown in red text at the bottom when you die, "swap alpha" and "swap last", as you have 2.
